.....it only took forever. Mainly because I couldn't decide if I wanted to drive or fly with Caedmon to go see Aunt Heather H in Wilmington, NC. Then it was decided to fly but then Tanner kept taking forever to request time off at work so we could purchase our plane tickets. But good thing because we ended up deciding to drive after all. We are going to leave the morning of Saturday August 24th and take our sweet time driving to Asheville, NC. The plan is to drive for about 3 hours or so and stop at parks or restaurants or sight see (need to research what we could see on the way) so Caedmon can get a break from the car seat. The goal will be to try to be driving when it is his nap times. Then we will spend the night in Asheville for 2 nights. On Sunday the 25th we want to go to Biltmore Estate again. The last time we were there was almost 8 years ago for our honeymoon. We are looking forward to seeing what has changed and taking Caedmon. We want to walk around the gardens and go to the winery. When we were there last time we weren't big wine drinkers at the time. So now that we are we want to check out the winery again. Also there is now a village around the winery with shops and stuff. So we will check that out too. Were not going to go into the house again. Already done that last time.

So the talk about Biltmore makes me have to go down memory lane now. Ha! I am remembering from the honeymoon when Tanner and I went to an old English style tea time in the Biltmore hotel. It was quite comical because we felt unsophisticated because we didn't know what we were doing. They brought out a tea box with different loose teas in it for us to choose from. We chose the tea and they put the loose leaf tea in the pot. There were what turned out to be strainers on the table but we had no idea what they were for. Tanner proceeds pouring a cup of tea which had loose tea floating in it. We both looked at each other and were like "are we supposed to drink the loose tea?... Tanner took a drink and was picking loose tea out of his mouth. lol Then we look over at another table and see someone using the strainer for the tea leaves. Both Tanner and I look at each other and are like oooohhhhhh. LOL!
Okay back to the vacation plans. Tanner would say that I am notorious for making short stories long. Ha! So basically then we will take another full day of taking our sweet time to get to Wilmington by the evening of Monday the 26th. Then have 5 full days with Heather and leave for home on Sunday September 1st. Again taking our sweet time and will spend the night somewhere and make it back home on Monday September 2nd (Labor Day).
