First Mother's Day / Father's Day

My first Mother's day (or weekend) was nice.  That Saturday we had Caedmon's 6 months photo session and family pictures taken.  Then afterwards we to a late lunch at my favorite restaurant, Rock Bottom.  Then if memory serves I believe we came home and all took a nap.  And on Mother's Day Tanner made red velvet pancakes for breakfast.  And him and Caedmon got me this super comfortable camping papasan chair.  Tanner also got Caedmon some onesies.  Unfortunately they didnt come in time but the thought was sweet of him.

And here is what Tanner got for Father's Day.  Unfortunately Father's Day was spent at a wedding.  But Tanner still enjoyed his first Father's Day and loved his gifts.

More Mobile

Again a couple months behind from when I originally started this post.  But he started getting more mobile by scooting backwards on his back.  He was on the bear mat when I stepped into the shower and when I got out of the shower he was found here going into our closet.  LOL!

"Hmm I wonder what is in here."

Caedmon and his bag of toys started out in the living room but ended up in the kitchen.

Since then he has been rolling around a lot from tummy to back to tummy, etc.  And presently he is starting to get on his hand and knees and will rock back and forth.  Or even do this (what we call baby pushups).

And today we actually caught him scooting forward on his belly.  So any day now he could be crawling. 

7 Months

Caedmon turned 7 months at the end of April.

Aunt Heather H's Visit to Indiana

Aunt Heather came to visit at the end of April.  Caedmon and I went to pick her up on Friday from the airport and it was Caedmon's first time in the airport.  They had a lot of fun together.  Denny, Vickie, Brandon, Sandy, and Rick came down the next day (which was Sandy's birthday and Caedmon's half birthday) for a killer cookout.  On Sunday Tanner, Caedmon , and I hung out with Heather for the day.  Then on Monday her 2 sisters, her mom, and her other nephew Noah came to pick her up at our house.  So Noah and Caedmon got to meet each other.  They are about 3 weeks apart.  We had a great visit and hopefully get to go see her in Wilmington soon.

Sponge Bob Intro

So we are behind on posts here but for awhile now Caedmon likes the intro to Sponge Bob.  He will stop whatever he is doing when it comes on and look at the TV and smile.  It is hard to hear so turn up your volume.
